Michael Sprangers graduated from Washington State University in 2005 summa cum laude, with a degree in Business. After graduation, Michael entered the financial industry. It was during this work that Michael decided he would like to start dedicating part of his time advocating for those in need. Michael became a Court Appoint Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteer, where he was an advocate for children in the foster care system. In 2009, Michael decided to pursue his dream of becoming an attorney and began attending the University of Washington School of law.
During Michael’s third and final year of law school, he was a member of the Innocence Project Northwest Clinic, a clinic that frees innocent prisoners using DNA and other newly discovered evidence. Michael, along with a fellow law student and attorneys Jacqueline McMurtrie and M. Fernanda Torres, assisted in the exoneration of their client.
Michael graduated from the University of Washington School of Law in 2012. He started working at Johnson Flora during law school, first as a legal intern, then as a Rule 9 Licensed Legal Intern, and after graduating and passing the Washington State Bar Exam in 2012, as an associate attorney.
Michael is passionate about advocating for his clients. His case experience includes personal injury, uninsured motorist insurance, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, breach of contract, and breach of insurance contract.
Michael is a member of the American Bar Association, Washington State Bar Association and is an Eagle member of the Washington State Association for Justice.
